You're a leader. You're smart. You're
capable. You work hard. So why do certain situations keep
playing out the same way as Before of your history? How to have
a 'New Story' for your Future?
The problem isn't you. It's your invisible operating system of the Before of your History.
Your Personal Mindfulness Quotient
(PMQ) reveals the hidden patterns driving your
decisions, relationships, and results. Based on the Perview
Mindfulness self-coaching framework, this isn't a personality
test. It's a diagnostic tool that in Part I is measuring the
restorying dimensions of how you actually show up in the
world. In Part II, it's about the play 'Our Town' by Thornton
Wilder, how there are extraordinary moments in ordinary live.
▶ The Personal Mindfulness Quotient (PMQ) measures seven dimensions of awareness using the PERVIEW framework
In Part I three questions each
for: 1. Characterize you at your best, 2. Externalize by
naming a character as the problem and not naming you, 3.
Sympathize with the payoff externalized character has for
you, 4. Revise to get at consequences of maintaining this
externalized character in your life, 5. Strategize by
recalling mostly forgotten Little Wow Moments (LWMs) that
were the exception to your externalized character having
control, 6. Rehistorize (restory, rewrite, re-author) your
usual way of telling your history with several Little wow
Moments recalled, and 7. Publicize by telling the 'New
Story' of your Future from extending Little Wow Moments
into your future, and forming a support group so you do
not back slide.
Then in Part II, the seven questions are inspired
by Thornton Wilder's Our Town, where a character
asks, "Do any human beings ever realize life while they live
it?" We took that question and made it practical: Do you
notice what you're repeating? Can you feel when you're on
autopilot? Do you catch yourself before reacting? The PMQ
shows you where you're awake and where you're asleep—so you
can do something about it.
In just 3 minutes, you'll discover your scores across 5 dimensions:
- Where your attention actually goes (versus where you think it goes)
- How your mental models are controlling your choices
- Why certain "stuck stories" keep repeating
- Your capacity for intentional change right now
- The gap between who you are and who you're becoming
